Who owns what
Unless a page says otherwise, the text, diagrams, images, logo and code on this site belong to Foundation Repair or the people who licensed them to us. "Foundation Repair" is the name we use on this site, and our logo is our brand. Other names on this site belong to their owners.
What you may reuse
You're welcome to read, print and share links to our pages for personal use. You may quote a short passage if you credit Foundation Repair and link back to the page. Please ask first before you republish a whole page, use our diagrams or use our content in a commercial product.
Materials from others
Some 3D textures come from Poly Haven under the CC0 public domain license, and our text uses the Inter and Geist typefaces under the SIL Open Font License.
Report a copyright problem
If you believe something on this site infringes your copyright, send a notice under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (17 U.S.C. § 512) with:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- A description of the copyrighted work.
- The address of the page with the material you're reporting.
- Your address, phone number and email.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use isn't authorized by the owner, its agent or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you own the rights or may act for the owner.
If your content was removed
If we remove something you posted or supplied and you think that was a mistake, you can send a counter-notice with your signature and contact details, a description of the material and where it was, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake, and your consent to the jurisdiction of a federal court. Knowingly false notices can lead to liability under the law.
