How Foundation Repair makes money
We make money in two ways. The main one is repair work: we inspect and repair foundations, crawl spaces and basements. The second is advertising on some of our homeowner guides, which helps pay for that free information.
Where ads appear
Ads only appear on informational guide pages. There are never ads on our service, cost, calculator, city, company or legal pages. Every ad sits under a visible "Advertisement" label so you can tell it apart from what we wrote.
How ads are chosen
Ads are served by Google AdSense. Google and its advertisers choose them, sometimes using cookies and your browsing history. We don't pick individual ads, and some may be for companies that compete with us. An ad isn't a recommendation from us, and we aren't responsible for what advertisers offer.
To see fewer personalized ads, read our cookie policy or change your settings on our privacy choices page.
Ads don't change what we say
Advertisers have no say in our guides, and they don't get to review them. Our editorial policy explains how we write and correct those pages.
Our guides can mention our own services
We sell the repairs our guides explain, so we have a stake in the subject. Guides link to our services and offer a free inspection. We still try to tell you when a problem is cosmetic or when a small fix might solve it.
Sponsored content and affiliate links
We don't publish sponsored articles or use affiliate links today. If that changes, we'll clearly label that content where it appears and update this page.
Report an ad
If you see an ad that looks misleading or offensive, let us know where you saw it and we'll try to block it. Please don't click it.
